I would recommend this book to children beginning at age ten. There are so many children that don’t know of or about this horrible era. God forbid it should ever happen again. I’m from a southern city and played with Jewish children and never thought of them being different from us. My best friend was Sarah. She was Jewish but I wasn’t aware of it until we were older.
