This Is an in depth view of celebrity, excess and the secrets underneath both. The story has many threads and is well done and kept me reading. Most of the characters, though beautiful and famous, are not likeable, but the discovery of the many secrets kept things interesting. This is not really a mystery in the traditional sense, nor a thriller, but a very clever look at the underside of great wealth and fame and our obsession with celebrity. Once I got about 30% in I loved it. All of the different characters motivations became clear. The underbelly of this beautiful club was much darker than I thought. The most difficult part, was differentiating each character at first (ie. Nikki and Annie) but otherwise was a thrilling story with many curveballs.
