I love this book so much and not just because I relate to it😂. It shows what some people go through with situations. She struggles with her own problems. They were both broken. He wasn’t ready to be with her but selfishly wanted her to be around. They bonded in ways they didn’t with other people because they related to one another. She realized that she was in a toxic relationship and pulled herself out. As much as it hurt she put herself first. It shows that it’s ok to go get the help you need. It’s ok to ask for help. It’s ok to put yourself first even if it hurts you both. Men like that don’t deserve the tears we shed. They don’t deserve the work we put in. They don’t deserve the love we give out. She learned that people can only hurt you if they let you. You have the power to put a stop to the hurt they are handing you. Chose you always. I didn’t need it. I still think it is good to have it for those that do need it. I don’t always need traditional HEA’s in fact, I crave Non traditional endings.
